The Farm in Damongo

Where and how to make a difference? Many ask that question and the answer is as varied as the number of causes in the world today. Without being aware of it, my where and how started in 2015 when I asked Gale Karpel of StudioWestDesign to recommend a venue to host “Tree of Life,” a fundraiser I created to benefit Jordan Health patients.

Gale introduced me to Christine Knoblauch (standing, right) of Knoblauch Studios and now, years later, this wonderful relationship has embraced an amazing young Ghanaian math teacher and 10 Grandmas in Damongo who care for 100 children through their heart-powered, skillful labor on the 3-acre farm donated to them thanks in part to our many supporters.
